How to book a stay at La Demoiselle ô Bois?

Book easily via our website ( book here ) or call us at +32 497/50.10.76.

What payment methods do you accept?

Visa, MasterCard (all credit and payment cards) and bank transfers. You can pay via our website or the booking operator.

Is there a deposit or full payment?

Payment is made in full at the time of booking or according to the terms of the chosen operator.

Is a deposit required?

✅ Yes, a deposit of €300 is payable one week before your arrival. It is refunded within 7 days of your departure.

Can I change or cancel my reservation?

Yes! Free up to 2 months before arrival. After that, the refund is decreasing.

Cancellation conditions:

Between 60 and 31 days before arrival: 75% refund.

Between 30 and 16 days before arrival: 50% refund.

Less than 15 days before arrival: no refund.

To cancel or modify your reservation, contact us by email (gite.seloignes@gmail.com) or by telephone (+32 497/50.10.76).

Refunds: In case of eligible cancellation, we will issue the refund within 10 business days.

Tip: If you book through a third-party platform (Booking, Airbnb, etc.), their terms and conditions may apply. Check their policies at the time of booking.

Is there a minimum length of stay?

⏳ Two nights minimum, except during specific periods when it may be longer.

Gite facilities

What is made available?

‍ A fully equipped kitchen / high-speed Wi-Fi (free) / 2 smart TVs / washing machine, dryer / iron and ironing board.

Kitchen: oven, microwave, dishwasher, coffee maker, kettle, toaster and everything needed to cook for 9 people.

Is there any equipment for babies?

Yes, we have thought of the little ones so that your stay is practical and pleasant!

Is there a hair dryer?

‍♀️ Of course! Two hair dryers are at your disposal.

What games are available on site?

Billiards, darts, various board games, books, large drawing board.

Petanque ground with balls for adults and children, Mölkky, giant mikado, badminton equipment, jokari.

Are bed linen and towels included?

️ Yes, the beds are made for your arrival. However, remember to bring your own bath towels.

Is parking available?

Yes, free parking is available on site.

Is the cottage accessible to people with reduced mobility?

Not completely. Three bedrooms are on the ground floor (with a step), but the fourth bedroom and second living room are upstairs.

What activities can be done in the region?

The Chimay region is full of treasures!

Nature lovers, history and/or heritage enthusiasts, lovers of good food, there is something for everyone:

Walks in the forest, starting from the gîte, or nearby (we'll lend you maps ️)

Cycling and mountain biking circuit (with access to the Ravel 3 KM away) - Our gîte is labeled "Bienvenue Vélo". Find all the information on cycle tourism here

Lac de Virelles and the Aquascope: a paradise for bird lovers and for discovering local wildlife.

Specific policies

Are pets allowed?

Yes, with pleasure! Let us know when booking. A supplement of €50 applies.

Please note that the garden is not fully fenced - your animals must remain under supervision (and not escape onto the path or to our neighbours).
Please provide their bedding. Bowls are available at the lodge.

Please pick up after your pets before you leave.

Tip: There are many pet-friendly walking routes around the cottage - they can frolic in the woods which are 100 metres from the house!

Any extra fee ?

No hidden fees. Cleaning and linen fees are included when booking.

What time can we arrive and leave?

Can we request an earlier arrival or a later departure?

Arrival from 5:00 p.m. Departure by 10:00 a.m.

️ Possibility of changes depending on availability and after agreement of the owners.

Early arrival or late departure upon prior request (at least 24 hours in advance).
A possible supplement may be requested.
